Oh! I have always wanted one of those! My Mom had one when I was small and I remember using it for sewing when I was young. Unfortunately it was lost when they had a house fire about 20 years ago. $20! What a steal! Does it still work? Judy
I think so. It really needs a good cleaning. I am hoping to get it up and running for this winter. I have a ton of projects that I would rather do on it then my new one.
What a great find! I found one years ago, a Seamstress Rotary sold by the T.E Eaton Company in Canada. The cabinet is a bit fancier than yours but I can tell you the cabinet cleaned up beautifully! Your belt might need to be replaced. If I'm not mistaken, Sears still might sell the leather belts. If not Leman's online will likely have them. Replacement needles shouldn't be too difficult to find. Give the machine a good cleaning and oiling too. Mine sews as good as my electric sewing machine. I hope yours does as well. Good luck and please update how it goes.
