Dinners for Occasions

Last year we were at the Living history museum around Thanksgiving and I was able to pick up a listing of a menu from Dinners for Occasions.
Thanksgiving Dinners

Menu No. I

Our rural ancestors, with little blest,
Patient of labor when, the end was rest,
Indulg’d the day that hous’d their annual grain,
With feasts and offerings and a thankful strain.

My Menu will be a tad bit less impressive! LOL!

Looks delicious. We have oysters in our Thanksgiving every year, but we put ours in our dressing. It is an eastern shore tradition I learned from my Grandma. :)

Mine won't be quite that impressive either, but I still can't wait. My favorite meal. YUM!
