I've gone back to using corningware - it seems to hold up so much better.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15689606909058471691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730218229428770234.post-52154895131501383432010-10-05T10:42:19.848-04:002010-10-05T10:42:19.848-04:00my mom has the same thing happen to her, she has j...my mom has the same thing happen to her, she has just taken the pyrex dish out of the oven and put it on the counter top normally we have a cutting board there but this time she didn't and the pan just shattered into a million little pieces, even though we vacuumed and moved things around we are still finding pieces all over the kitchen. lucky for her she had the food in foil, so when it shattered she didn't have to worry about splinters.Aisha @The Bewitching Bibliophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13747046019797410273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730218229428770234.post-14464687599695045732010-10-05T08:19:06.590-04:002010-10-05T08:19:06.590-04:00I am so glad you are all ok! I don't use pyrex because I usually am in a hurry and I didn't want this to ever happen!

Looking forward to seeing your newest pumpkin!!!!!!!!!!Wandering Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10328293160005907310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730218229428770234.post-16422360106268921032010-10-05T05:07:53.011-04:002010-10-05T05:07:53.011-04:00I have actually had one of these shatter on me one...I have actually had one of these shatter on me one Thanksgiving - Thank goodness Pooldad and I were standing side by side and shielded the kids behind us. It was safety glass confetti. I think the people that bought our house are still cleaning it up. It was mammoth!

I won't use Pyrex ever again for this reason alone. It scared the behoohoo out of me. And this was Pyrex we had owned before they put the gazillion warning labels on it.

I am glad you are okay. Sorry about the pumpkin tho'. That is sad. :(SkippyMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09479661523059481730noreply@blogger.com
