WIP ~ Flamboyant Afghan

There are 32 finished squares, 18 almost done and 50 centers. By the time this is done it will be 100 squares total. Not sure how big it will be but each square is almost 8 inches….Ok…. Lets do the math….. 10 x 8 = 80 inches x 80 inches = 6ft 8inches x 6ft 8inches…. I guess that should be big enough for wherever it ends up…. See I have no place in mind for this…. I just wanted to see if I could do the pattern…. LOL! I even had to go and buy more colors because it was going to use more then I had…. That’s why the half done squares are different color… They will blend in when its all done.

I't looking great! I love all the bold colors. I think I'm putting the knitting needles down for a day and quilt a bit.you've provided quite a bit of colorful inspiration!

My mom made me a multi-coloured afghan like that when I was in my late teens. I still have it and love it! Someone will be very happy with your work of art.

That is going to be amazing. There is nothing more soothing and comforting than curling up under a crocheted afghan, especially one as pretty as that.
